As some of you might have noticed, I turned off the app a little over a month ago due to lack of users and activity.
Since then, it has appeared that there’s actually quite a few traders that are using the app often and with a purpose.
We bounced a few ideas around, and it seems running a crowdfunding campaign (for server costs and maintenance time) is an option worth trying.
I’m setting the raise target to 2K USD (yearly).
- If we get to the target, I’m turning TradingGYM back on.
- If we get close, we will figure it out.
- If we completely miss the target, I’m returning the money to the donators.
Due to the country restrictions for most crowdfunding platforms and not wanting to doxx myself (assuming that also others don’t want to doxx as donators), I’ll be running this the simple way — donations to my Crypto wallet.
